Low Point Light House

This 72-foot octagonal lighthouse has guided mariners into Sydney Harbour since 1832 and sits on a windswept point in New Victoria. The current concrete tower dates to 1938 and houses Nova Scotia's only remaining circular lantern, built by England's Chance Brothers. The grounds offer views of Spanish Bay and the Newfoundland ferry route; it's located at the end of Lighthouse Road along the Marconi Trail.
