Mary Ann Falls
A series of cascades and pools in Cape Breton Highlands National Park, reached by a short downhill walk from the parking area. The main pool is deep and clear, popular for swimming, though the water stays cold year-round. Arrive before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m. on summer weekends to avoid crowds; the lot fills by mid-morning in July and August. Access is via gravel road off the Cabot Trail south of Neil's Harbour—passable in any vehicle. Parks Canada day pass required.
