Small first-come oceanfront campground on the Cabot Trail.

A 22-site Parks Canada campground perched between the Cabot Trail and the Gulf of St. Lawrence, halfway between Chéticamp and Pleasant Bay.

Sites & amenities

22 unserviced sites. Flush toilets only — no showers or hookups. Picnic tables and fire grates at every site, with a cobble beach steps away.

Best for

Tent campers and small-rig travellers chasing sunsets and sound of surf without the crowds of larger campgrounds.

Park & access

First-come, first-served only — arrive before noon in peak season. 2026 season May 15 – October 26. Park entry pass required.

Combine it with

L'Acadien Trail, Pleasant Bay whale watching, and the Skyline Trail trailhead 10 minutes north.
